The folks at this River North, smoke-free wine bar hope to ease your discomfort with an approachable atmosphere and 25 wines by the glass, quartino, bottle and flight. The user-friendly wine menu breaks wine down by flavor rather than region, starting off with the light and crisp, and moving up to full-bodied. Nosh on a global fusion menu of salads, appetizers and other small plates, here called "mini entrees." Or try a pizza with caramelized pears and onions, garlic aioli, fontina and mozzarella cheeses. The shabby chic decor features cream-colored and exposed brick walls, a mahogony bar and tables, suede banquettes, funky candles and lamps. Wine tastings are held weekly.
