I really like this wine bar, not only was the service very friendly and helpful with wine recommendations, but the overall ambience of the place was very very sharp. I will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I came in this past Thursday and spent our evening out with Greg at the bar. We are both experienced Chicago diners having recently dined out at L2O, The Violet Hour, etc. and I have to say that Greg is hands down the most impressive bartender we've encountered. My boyfriend and I sat in amazement as he efficiently handled everyone at the bar, made the servers' drinks and even greeted people at the door - all while engaging everyone at the bar. We never had an empty glass or a crumb in front of us. He spent time suggesting wines and food, all of which were incredible. All in all, it was an extraordinary night out. We will most assuredly be back! Thanks, Greg!

It's a great place for a date. Lincoln Park needs more places like this.

Low lighting, an eclectic music selection and good service all contribute to making this a great first date hotspot. I will definitely return.

My husband and I ate at Dunlays and headed over to the D.O.C for post dinner drinks. We sampled a ton of wine. The bartender was most gracious and helpful - we definitely got the most out of our money here. We ended up getting a cheese plate later in the evening because we had stayed so long which was yummy! I highly recommended checking this place out. It's a relaxing time w/ great service, wine and food.

great place for a private party

We had a private party there a few weeks ago. The service was amazing. We always had a drink in our hands, the staff was very nice and accomodating, they even took guests coats when they walked in. Good food and wine selection.

Would recommend definitley for private parties or smaller groups!

Having three kids, my husband and I rarely get to go out, so when we do it's a very important night for us. Last week we chose D.O.C. and we had the best time! The wine flights are wonderful and the people there are so friendly. A great spot for a great night out.
