Brunch - pretty good

We went here on Sunday morning at 9:30 am. No one was in the place (that's the great thing about being an early riser for brunch in the city). Although the place was SUPER SUPER loud from all of the TVs going, the food was pretty decent. I had the breakfast lasagna - It was excellent. My boyfriend had biscuits and gravy - make sure you like cumin; they were chokked full of it (which i love). Also, the service was great - the biz and gravy was hard and cold, she made him fresh new ones at no charge - Awesome! And, i got a pint of juice for $2. I'll be coming back.

Holy Grade Inflation Batman!

Um...how is it that a mediocre sports bar/restaurant has the most reviews of anyplace you'll see on Metromix? In typical Chicago fashion, Ladies and Gents, I think we have some ballot box stuffing going on here. We live close by and have eaten at this place twice, and while the food is passable it is ridiculously expensive ($8 for mac & cheese side dish? Please). We ejoyed the tapas at former restaurant Bravo in that space more. I do wish them luck, as nothing seems to be able to hang in that space for very long, but wonder about the excessive fawning that occurs in these reviews!

Overpriced lame brunch

I wanted to like it-but the brunch was beyond overpriced-$12 for eggs at a sports bar?? And then they aren't even that good, total rip off.

Good times!

Awesome bar with a good vibe. There are tons of TVs for sporting events and a friendly staff. Music was bumpin, drinks are great, and the food is really good. I can't wait to check out their brunch soon, the menu looked solid, especially the french toast sliders!

Three levels. We had a good time. Bar food was way above avg. And service is quite good. Right down the street from me is good, too.

Can't get much better

Saturday night I came in to celebrate my birthday with about 8 friends. We were greeted right away and the drinks started to flow. The drinks are strong here too by the way which is always a plus and they had good specials in 24 ounce cups. Our server Nicki was really great, I don't think there was ever an empty drink on the table. She was hilarious and cracked jokes for most of the night with our crowd and took care of us even though it was clear she was slammed with other tables. We had some munchies too, the Nachos with steak hit the spot. This is a great new addition to the neighborhood and I plan on coming back.

First Time ROCKED!

Ok, at first I was unsure about this place because of all the tv's and yuppie crowd but I live in the neighborhood and finally decided to stop by last night because we heard of the good food! Not only did we have an amazing dinner, but our waitress Nicki made our experience all the more better. All her suggestions were perfect. She told us to go for the Pulled Pork Sandwich (Which was SO good by the way) and also the Skirt Steak Sandwich (Amazing). I'm a server myself and Nicki was exceptional. We even got hot towels with lemons at the end! I will be back, not for the yuppie crowd, but for the food and great service!

Much Needed in Wicker Park

Finally a place to go near home that isn't a dive bar, has great food (Mac and Cheese, yum) and the service is good too. Most of the newer places around here don't have all three, and on my third visit here they still made me happy and my server from last time waived hello. Not to say I don't enjoy the local dive bars also, but this place has it all and seems to be bringing in great crowds night after night.

do NOT eat here
By peanutsarmy from east lakeshore, July 5, 2008

what a TOTAL disappoint - our waitress was extremely rude to us and the food was very over-priced and not very good. I ordered "grilled chicken" and it came out looking like something i could have ordered at Denny's. ..for $16.00. i would not recommend anyone to eat at this place- terrible service and disappointing food.
