I was at the Cubby Bear North for my friend's husband's surprise party a few weeks ago. Who knew that the private parties they have there are so great. The food was out of this world. The grilled salmon, flank steak and ribs were outstanding. Our server and bartender for the party were excellent, we didn't have to get up out of our seat once. They were always there to greet us with a smile. The band was awesome and the crowd was getting into it. I loved the bean bag games they had on their outside deck. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to through a party.

OK food, service like you'd expect. The real surprise was when I received my VISA bill and discovered that I had been charged twice, once before and once after the tip had beed applied. After further reviewing my actual receipt, I noticed that the Cubby Bear prints out the entire VISA number on the receipt instead of x'ing out all but the last 4 numbers. In this day and age of credit card theft and ID theft that practice is unacceptable, not to mention completely outdated. I spoke to a very pleasant manager in an attempt to get an explanation but after waiting over 1 week for a reply I'm giving up. They have lost my business for good.

The servers rocked. Cute, friendly, knew what they were doing. My server got me my food on time, and even included extras I needed but didn't think to ask.
The alcohol selection is extensive. Had beer I had never seen before.
Band was great. Heard that some other well-known acts are coming there. Will be back.
