Poor, Poor Service

Overall rating:

We experienced extremely poor service. Server overwhelmed with bad attitude and kitchen slow. We waited over an hour for a burger. Owner appeared as a Jimmy Buffet wannabee who was apologetic yet defensive when asked about poor service. Did not offer to resolve issue in any way. Would not recommend for more than late night drinks, last night stop home. This is not a high end establishment that aims to please, more of a low scale neighborhood pub. Depends on what you are looking for and your ability to be flexible and tolerant of poor service.

Best Burger on the south side

Great place to get a picture of beer and a burger. The bar area is nice, and so is
the general atomosphere. They have nostalic decor with old signs and an area
with a couple game machines and darts. Its cozy and a great neighborhood place
to sit back and relax, talk to the other patrons, or watch the ballgame.
Food is really good, and they have a menu with other great sandwiches and side
dishes. Give it a try.......you won't regret it, and will definately want to come back.

I love it here. The bartenders are great and the waitresses are funny and attentive. The food is worth checking out- get the cajun fries! They also have a really good selection at the jukebox. Overall an outstanding bar that always feels like home (minus having to do the dishes).

Great neighborhood place to go and have a beer or whatever suits you. If you do go there, please go on an empty stomach because the food is awesome. I know that their food is pub food, but it is of great quality and the portions are huge.
