What a Joynt

What a find. This place is a gem. I could kiss the friend that told me about this Joynt...if only I could. Crappy dance music downstairs, mediocre lounge music upstairs, and THE MOST KICK ASS JAZZ IN THE CITY in the back. All age ranges ae represented except for the "teeny-bopper" crew. Awesome bartenders. Polite management. Good pick up spot but nice conversation to be had regardless of all that nonsense too. Just love this Joynt.....Ireally do.

My New Favorite Bar in Chicago

This is an amazing bar!!! The bartenders and cocktail waitresses are so welcoming and the crowd is always upscale. I’m in my mid 30’s and it’s definitely a place where I feel like I fit right in. Leave your baseball caps and jeans at home, get a little dressy and come ready to have good times.

I have been comming to the Joynt for a cople of weeks now. I like it because when its slower its still a nice comfortable place to have a drink with friends. Just when your ready to let loose the place picks up. The whole place looks and feels great. The best part is the staff. The doormen in the front are crazy huge, but the nicest guys you will ever meet working in a club. The general manager will try to get you to buy a bottle, but its not a big deal if you dont want to just move to the bar. I started comming for the piano bar but my frinds and I have now become regulars downstaris in the club room. They play great old school stuff and the 3 DJs I have met so far are all really nice and will even take requests and joke around with you. Its a great place for girls becuase it doesnt have that "Meat Market" feel. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Well me and my girlfriends were down in chi-town for another weekend at "x". We walked up and same old stuff. One of us noticed a couple huge dudes at the end of the block so we decided to check it out. Wow, nice club. Great bar on entry, live jazz in the next room, one of my girlfriends plays sax, so that was fun. Dancing in the basement and another room down there to chill. But was really nice was guys bought us drinks and it was nice to hang out with adults for a change.

Had a great time!

Found this place Wednesday night (no sign out,..yet.) had a great time. Really good band, crowded but not over crowded, the bar staff got our drinks out without a problem and everybody seemed to be having a good time. I'll be back this weekend 'cause if their Wed. band is this good then the "Kendal Lewis group" should be phenominal.

We were there last weekend, and what a great place. This is what Chicago has been waiting for. If you haven't been to check this place out, you are definitely missing out on something special. Age diverse, ethnically diverse upscale club extraordinaire!

A few friends and I went to the Joynt on Saturday. The doormen were very nice and explained it was a new nightclub and gave us a full tour. Main bar, Piano Bar, Dance Club, V.I.P. Room. After showing us around he asked us where we wanted to hang out at, we chose the dance club. After hearing the music my friends and I couldnt stop singing the hits that we totally forgot we loved. Soon after some drinks the singing changed to dancing. The club is very upscale even the DJ was wearing a suit so I was a little intimadated to ask him to play a song but when I walked over to him he smiled and asked if there was something I wanted to hear. I was blown away! I told him my friends loved the music but would really like to hear some Michael Jackson and he mixed it in right away. We didnt even need to request any more songs becausewe were dancing all night. We love this place. People- friendly, classy and upscale. Place- upscale and lounge-ish. Music AWSOME!
