I am a local Streeterville woman and I quite frequently stop in at Grape Street. I happened to witness the group that posted the latest review. What I noticed was that the group was quite unruly and rude. It was busy and the place isn't huge but the group was all over the place. Possibily the waitress could have been a bit more tactful. However they don't charge a cover for some of the best live music in town so I don't mind having a few drinks. I always have a great time when I am in there.
Report This ReviewI was with a group where we ordered several drinks and after waiting for a while were finally able to sit down at a table. The piano player was fantastic, however, after I paid five dollars for a WATER (tap) and others had paid four+ dollars for soda ON TOP OF the alcoholic drinks we ordered (that were sill in our hands), we were asked to GET UP FROM OUR TABLE (after 15 minutes) to leave to make room for people who apparently would double fist their drinks. Our waitress was extremely rude, and we had no desire to stay, and when the owner asked why we were leaving and we explained the waitress whined about how she needed to give the table to those people when there were TWO OTHER OPEN TABELS!! The waitress was SO rude, and the owner seemed to fake concern, but didn't actually do anything. I have never been so rudely treated in my life. I've been a waitress before and understand the stress that can go with it, but there was no reason for what happened here. Unless you plan on standing or buying a drink every 5-7 minutes just avoid this bar entirely.
Report This ReviewI have been to G & V several times. Aurturo (sp?) is a great entertainer & the service has always been good. BUT, every time the bill comes I am told the credit card machine is broken. Every time! I am then encouraged to use the ATM (high fee) outside the building. Hmmm, who owns the ATM....
Report This ReviewGreat place to kick back & relax after a night on the town.
Recently, my out-of-town cousins & myself hung out for a few drinks
and service as usual was outstanding. My wife loves the signature "Grape-street
Martini's" but missed out on this night with the guys. Thanks again Mike!

I work in the area and finally after a long day stopped by for a strong martini. I had never been inside before and was very impressed. It was small, cozy and my martini was great! The bartender was talking with another customer about the Carter family and the Four Tops. I was told the Four Tops were going to perform tonight and the Carter family were special guests. It sounds like a blast! I'll be there!

Report This Reviewit enjoyed myself all 5 times that i went if you want i great nite out try grape st and vine
Report This ReviewI went to grape street based on the great reviews on metromix. My friend and I went on a weekend evening and even though it wasn't too busy, our drinks took much longer than expected. The music was great, I must say, but the food and service were below par. I think these guys write their own reviews.
Report This ReviewI pass by the Grape pretty often and one day decided to stop in. The place gives off a cool, laid-back vibe that perfectly compliments the music. A few beautiful cocktail servers obviously adds to the package. Good times.
