The Flat Iron

What was formerly The Note, the beloved live music venue known for hosting hip-hop DJs and punk, rock and funk outfits, is now a straight-up tavern. Period.
The Flat Iron appeals to night owls looking for conversation and a cold one. Since he isn’t a big fan of TVs, Novich uses art to get people talking. (It plays a big part at his other joints—just check out the curvy nude gracing the wall of Nick’s Beer Garden.) Ultimately, Novich says, "People are out to interact and see and be seen."
