BUYER BEWARE: Apparently this local watering hole raise their prices ENORMOUSLY depending on if there is a home game or not, and according to the waitress, depending on who the Cub's are playing. I was SHOCKED tonight to find my usual Jack and Coke was $10!!! Are you kidding me? I could have a tasty fancy martini (with more alcohol) at a posh River North location with better men than slobbering drunk Cubs for the same price! The waitress tried to placate the situation by telling me "thats the difference between the suburbs and the city". Um, honey, I live a block from here and this is NOT my first time here. They have never charged that much for a Jack, and given the economy, NEVER SHOULD. No wonder the place was about dead! I suggest anyone go there inquire about the price of their drink... if I had known, I would have stopped much earlier and gone elsewhere.
