Another hotspot with a dual restaurant-lounge personality -- partners have club cred while hotshot chef Douglas Rodriguez (Ola Miami, Deseo in Scottsdale and Alma de Cuba in Philadelphia) brings his pan-Latin artistry to Streeterville. Suhail, the man behind the decor at some of Chicago's trendiest spots, designed the 12,000-square-foot space, giving it a flamboyant mod-meets-baroque interior. Look for Brazilian tigerwood floors, quirky light fixtures, marble and glass "ceviche" bars, and a solarium fitted with private cabanas that are stocked with both a bar and a bartender. The menu, which can get pricey, features tons of ceviches, plus Nuevo Latino fare like olive oil poached halibut and adobo-rubbed tuna. The cocktail list offers muddled concoctions beyond the usual mojito, inventive sangria choices and signature "poptails," martinis with a frozen alcohol-laced mini popsicle garnish.
