Wild Goose Bar & Grill

The place is well worn but tidy, with tables scattered about on a wooden floor. A long bar holds a dozen domestic and imported draft pulls, video game machines are tucked into several corners, and the period photographs of Old Chicago on the walls fight a loosing battle to the TVs for customers' attention. The back bar is decorated with football and baseball helmets. Eating accouterments, including tableware, napkins, salt and pepper, are delivered to the tables in a six-pack container. On the menu: beer-battered jumbo jalapenos stuffed with chorizo and cheese, marinated half-pound burger, chicken tostadas and blackened sashimi-grade tuna steak.
