Sports fan or not, this Lincoln Park bar from Matt Eisler (Empire Liquors) and team has the attitude and atmosphere to appeal to a wide audience. Located in the old Corner Pocket address, the mahogany bars and dark wood details warm up the space, which gets bathed in light from the 29 HD plasma TVs. Catch every play while you check out the three rooms, each with its own bar. Order a beer from the tap, bottle or brown paper bag (Yes, the bar serves 40s!), and chow down on burgers and bar food. The cozy front section feels like your corner bar, the large middle room is where you let loose when the music's playing, and the back room is the perfect place for private parties--especially if they require melting into large leather chairs and couches to watch sports on the 85-by-164-inch projection screen painted and framed on the wall. Though Notre Dame alums pack the place for football games, Victory Liquors caters to fans of all teams.
