Crazy fun

At first I didn't think I was gonna like this place. It took me back to the feeling of college frat-boy bars with a tiki/beach theme. When you're not in the mood to dress to impress, this is a great spot to go out and have a blast cheap! There are plenty of bars scattered all over the large venue and they get really great cover bands on the weekends. If you go early, you can play flippy cup, bags, beer pong and other games. They also have tons of bracelet deal drink packages available all the time. The bartenders are fun & friendly and quick about getting your drinks. The owner is really creative and often has unique parties & events going on. Check it out!

Totally not a city girl ( live in the far west suburbs so it makes it hard)typically but a friend of mine said that she had gotten an email that this place was the new hot spot on fridays in the city so we made the trip and with high expectations we went, normally when i have high expectations the place i go to falls well short of them, howevr i was more than thrilled,they had these guys dressed up as dorks on stage playing 80's hits(which i love) and they were AMAZING, i am a new found fan of cover bands after hearing them(i am typically a dance club girl) and they had live DJ's playing for spots at a time as well, the bar was full of outgoing people(ladies lots of hotties to pick from) and we danced all night long drinking fish bowls(lil pricey but GOOD!)

I was there for the first time this Weekend we went Friday night and had a blast! awesome cover band love them, had so much fun came back for a bit Saturday had a good time again but left with friends early.. too bad because the guy singing was HOT!!
I will be back again constantly I love cover bands and I love This Place! I have found my new spot!

Great place for people of all ages!! Have been there plenty of times and early on its a great place to chill and PLAY BAGS with friend and co-workers and then around 10 this place is packed with an awesome crowd dancing to live cover bands and getting great drinks, strong if you ask me. Uncle Fatty's continues to be my favorite place to hang out in Chicago!! Now they are starting a country night on Tuesday nights with free line dancing classes!! I can't wait to go back.

This bar is great - awesome live cover band - great vibe in the place - everyone there was smiling and friendly - drunk? Drinks are stiff and the place is always packed - you can call to reserve a spot on the "beach" or even a cababana with bucket service (instead of bottle service) - The crowd was diverse in age when I have been so I am not sure when it is young . . I would say 25-40 . .?? If it gets too crazy you can go in back to the adjoining Bottle Bar where their unique trait is having 100 different bottles of beer - My boys and I will be back!

I'm sure this bar is a blast for a 22 year old, but anyone over that will feel old and out of place. The girls dress fancy in dresses and heels, but it doesn't look like that kind of a place since the people around you are playing flip cup and cornhole. I have to give it a bad review because I will NEVER go back, but I think if I was 22 I would have loved it.

Great Bar, Horrible Drink Package

Uncle Fatty's has a great atmosphere, music, and drinks. Although the place was very fun, the $35 "all-you-can-drink" special was horrible. First of all, the package was not all you can drink. Shots and certain frozen drinks, the bar's main draw, are not included. Also, the package only last three hours and the waitresses and bar are so busy it takes forever to make it worth your while. Go for the atmosphere and drinks but not the drink package.

Uncle Fatty's aims to be the spot for Spring Break, with a sand pit and loads of bar games like bags and basketball. The only problem is that during the summer, I'd rather spend my time outside rather than inside a bar that aims to give a warm weather appearance. I think this bar would be a blast in the winter, though!
The bar staff is rather friendly and the specialty frozen drinks are fantastic.

Where else in the city can you come in as is and feel comfortable? I went here with my girls last week after a cubs game and drank our asses off , actually had a really sweet bartender( think her name was rose ? ) and danced the night away...this place is totally worth checking out.we'll be back soon

..That's exactly the way I felt walking in. I love Spring Break like everyone else, but this just seemed juvenile. The bad thing was that I was nicely buzzed when I came in, but after 5 minutes I sobered up and just wanted to get the heck out of there. I won't say it's tacky or cheesy (that is what they're going for) but you have to be a certain age range to appreciate it (21-24). Anything older and you're trying to relive college again. Sad.
