Once touted by some as "the best dive in America," Tuman's--formerly known as Tuman's Alcohol Abuse Center--reopened on Dec. 31, 2003 under new ownership, which restored the storied 1890's architecture of this Ukrainian Village neighborhood pub.
Aside from the restored original milk-glass ceiling, tin walls, tiger oak back bar and mahogany bar top, this popular pub known throughout the city for its "cheap beer," now offers a full menu offering Traditional American items for the entire family. A spacious patio and weekend appearances by DJ Major Taylor keep neighborhood regulars coming back.
