Sometimes you need a place where everyone knows your name, and this tavern is just the place where you can start working on that. Tin ceilings, brick walls and a 40-foot mahogany bar create a traditional and casual Chicago bar scene. Eats include sliders, wings, sandwiches and salads; drinks include four beers on tap, a selection of bottles and signature sippers such as the Third Rail Cosmo and West Loop Drop. As for the name? One of the owner's grandfather owned a tavern near Madison and Halsted Streets called The Rail Inn, so this is a tribute to the third generation of their family.
