The Tender Trap use to be a spot for singles, but it has developed a more family-friendly atmosphere. This restaurant/bar isn't high on the frills scale (the wooden bench seats can be hard on the back and other body parts) but the atmosphere is friendly and the food is reliable. There are plenty of specials to keep you coming back through the week: on Fridays, perch and shrimp; crab legs on Wednesdays and Saturdays and half-price pizza on Thursday. On the bar side, you'll see specials on pitchers of beer on Sundays an Mondays.
