The Keg of Evanston
Despite the addition of Bar Louie and several other bars to Evanston in recent years, this spot remains the king of Northwestern University bars. The Keg has attracted students for decades with its pool tables, dart boards, televisions, and, of course, cheap beer. Students flock en masse to the Keg on Monday nights during the school year, but as they venture to the city later in the week, expect more of the blue-collar Evanston locals to come out to play in the Keg's expansive four rooms. Expect standard pub grub and a variety of brews.
