"Logan Square seems like a cool place to tell people you live, but really, besides three good restaurants there isn't sh*t to do. Until now," said the owners of this self-proclaimed old man bar in the making. You gotta love a wiseass. This corner tavern sports eight drafts featuring a mix of seasonal craft beers with dive bar staples PBR and Old Style, a bar top made of recycled barn wood, old church pews for seating and specialty cocktails known as shots of Maker's Mark. Nightly DJs keep the beats fresh and eclectic: Think everything from punk and funk to Brit and the little-known genre of Pontoon Rock. If the brothers that own this spot live up to all that's promised in their sarcastic, irreverent "press release"--and the dry humor we picked up on during a phone chat--then this spot might just be cool as hell.
