At this neighborhood bar and grill, there's a story behind nearly every fixture and piece of furniture, made from salvaged bowling alley planks, pinball machines and church pews courtesy of design firm Alter Ego. Russ and Desiree Grant (Northside, Street Side) partnered with restaurateur Michael Noone to build this bar on a double-wide lot on 18th Street.
Cocktails range from tweaked classics (like the Sazerac Nuevo made with French liqueur chartreuse) to gimmicky (the Double Bubble, a pear-orange-champagne concoction with a Pop Rocks rim). The beer selection skews toward microbrews, with Bear Republic's Racer 5 and Founders' Dirty Bastard on tap. The casual food menu lines up salads, sandwiches and pizzas, including a few vegetarian and vegan options.

I really like Simone's. My favorite bartender is park of the A team. He make the Toy Gun that I ever tasted. I'm there once a week.!!!!! Lord knows...
