Rose's Lounge
2656 N. Lincoln Ave. - Chicago773-327-4000
Roses is one of the best dives in Chicago. Rose actually works the bar, shes probably in her late 60's. The place very few matching chairs, couches, a pool table, an old school jukebox and cheap beer. Bottom line, just got a great vibe from this place.
Report This ReviewMy boyfriend and I were strolling along Lincoln Avenue the other night and found this bar. We were supposed to meet some friends later so we were just going to have a beer. We ended up staying all night!!! The atmosphere was great and free from all the jerks that usually go to bars around there. Clarence and I will be back for sure. However the bouncer was kind of rude when he saw two guys toghther, but whateve we had fun....
Report This ReviewRose's was a late night find that I can't wait to go back to. Rose was really sweet and the decor was eclectic much like the crowd there. A great escape from the typical Lincoln Park bar.
Report This ReviewRose is a Sweetheart!! Introduced to this bar by a friend. Would return in an instant.
Report This ReviewROSES IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO TO KEEP IT REAL
Report This ReviewRose's is the crème della crème of Chicago's drinking hole community. A delicious oddity, in that it is where the bustling metropolis' elite high society co-mingles with the slow-witted proletariat masses to discuss current world events from respective view points. The poorly lit atmosphere whisks one gently away into a golden age of grace, elegance, and shivery which otherwise is only existent in sentimental rosy memories. Parking was ample.
Report This ReviewThis retro, eastern-european, hole in the wall bar is a great place to get away from society. Get your hand out of your pocket and enjoy authentic $1 warm beers, GNR on jukebox, and some good ole fashion drinking. Soon you'll be acclimated to life void of sunlight and fortified in your plastic chair at Rose's.
Report This ReviewRoses consists of 1 dollar beers, a pool table, a 45's jukebox, and the kindest family bartenders in Chicago. If theres a better tavern in Chicago for spending a drunken evening, I havent found it. Be ready to hear " The Gambler" about 3 times an hour on the jukebox.
Report This ReviewThis is my favorite bar in Chicago. How can you beat $1 drafts and still hold a conversation with the person(s) next to you. Good times.
