New addition In Humboldt Park. I went there with a few friends last night and was really impressed with this establishment. It was cute and welcoming, great non-pretentious atmosphere, very good value and great service. It has inside and outside sitting. Great wine, beer, and spirits selection. If you like Webster's wine bar, you will like this intimate, yet friendly place.
Summarize: Value, Great service, great atmosphere, patio, great selection.

Interesting wine and great selection of small bites of meat, cheese, and finger food. The service is great and the decor/space is stimulating. Great place to go with friends. A place to definitely go back.

My wife and I just found this place and were amazed. Excellent food, service and beverages for all! Perfect for a date, a dinner or just to unwind. Our server recommended an excellent and affordable bottle of wine to go with our spectacular charcuterie. We eat all over the city and this is the best we have found in months, try it, you will not be disappointed.

this new little gem in humbolt park has got it goin on! so cozy, dimly lit and decorated with the cool furniture you wish you had found on craigslist, rootstock is such a welcome addition to the hood.
they've got an impressive selection of delicious brews and very nice wines from near and far. it's a small menu but I've never left hungry and you really can't go wrong: the crusts are amazingly delicious, the asparagus salad with a delcious dollop of seasoned ricotta is one of my faves and the cheese & charcuterie plates are fab too. even if you're just there for a beer, do yourself a favor & order the onion rings... delicious light batter and tasty harissa dip...yummm.

my boyfriend and I find ourselves there several times a week...and at the heart of it all, the three owners are friendly, welcoming and so on top of it. hip hip hooray! three cheers for rootstock!!
