This friendly neighborhood pub is the hipster mecca of Ukrainian Village and the only meat market in town that's full of vegetarians. Indie-rockers, scenesters and poseurs alike come for the music (bartenders' tastes are an excellent barometer of the bands that'll be the Next Big Thing), the comfy booths that line the far wall and, of course, the photo booth. Your beer tab will never break the bank, and the acoustics in the wood-paneled room allow for conversation no matter where you stand--just bring your asthma inhaler. The Rainbo is the area's smokiest bar, by far. On your way out, check out the door of the building next door; it was photographed for the cover of recent The Minus 5 album, "Down with Wilco."

Great bar, good music, and fun photo booth. Loads of cute guys and gals. We usually start our Saturday nights here and then move on to Plan B.
