Parkside Pub
5.0
For the time being, Parkside is one of a few suburban locations where a diner or drinker can infiltrate a truly "local" crowd. During afternoons the bar is filled with employees from nearby factories. At night, a blue-collar crowd, between late 20s to mid 30s, takes over. Inside exists a single pool table and outside resides a sizable beer garden overlooking a sand volleyball court. Burgers, brats and sandwiches are standard house fare. In the summertime, Fridays and Saturdays are host to outdoor fish boils, jumbo shrimp and rib feasts, which are served buffet-style. On rare occasions, live bands perform.

One of the best bars in the suburbs. Especially enjoyed Jim Cook singing Elvis songs. Best Elvis vocal impersonator, I have ever heard!
