Located in an old brownstone re-zoned for commercial use, Monsignor Murphy's sits on the second floor, well above sidewalk level, and features a small porch that looks out onto the street, providing ample opportunity to gape at passers-by, and vice versa. It's also a great way to hail a cab. It's a noisy neighborhood place popular with people who live within walking distance (but not too close).
