The lights and tacky decorations surrounding the bar at Los Amigos make it seem like it's Christmas year-round, which is funny, considering that the rest of the bar is perfect for an autumn evening with every door open and the pool table ready for a lazy game. Speaking Spanish here helps, although it's by no means necessary--the regulars are primarily Mexican, but all kinds of GenX-ers wander in on weekends. Be sure to try out their Casadores tequila, but definitely avoid the bathrooms.
