Hungry Brain

2319 W. Belmont Ave.

Chicago, IL 60618
773-935-2118
This eclectic Roscoe Village neighborhood pub provides a fun, laid-back environment for those seeking a non-sports bar experience. Mismatched furniture, paintings and dim lighting give the bar a hip, local feel, so expect young, artsy clientele, many of whom are musicians and actors. The building used to house an improv comedy theater; today the stage is used on Sundays for jazz improv performances. There's also a spacious beer garden, wide music selection on the jukebox, and a nightly visit from the tamale man.
