God bless the Gold Star! This is the best bar on Division St period. Please keep the low-key atmosphere and maybe the new neighbors will get the hint that this is not the place to act like a spoiled brat with a Gold AmEx. Great jukebox and really nice bartenders to boot! This is truly a Chicago experience and maybe not right for out of town (who maybe live here now but are NOT Chicagoans) wannabe hipsters.

This place has been a staple in the neighborhood forever. I love it here. Cheap beers and friendly bartenders. Nothing fancy - but that's what I look for in a neighborhood tavern.

What a disappointment! Only thing good was the cheap Old Style. The bar smelled awful and caveman bartender (hard to miss him) was so rude. Took forever to get my beer. Wouldn't recomend this bar.
