Four Farthings is a neighborhood pub with a nice outside patio and reasonable prices. Family owned and operated since 1981, it serves brunch, lunch and dinner. Lunch items range from $8 to $12; dinner items from $11 to $29. Prime-aged steak and seafood such as whitefish and crab cakes are popular. Sunday brunch here always pairs well with the bar's 16-ounce bloody mary.
During warmer months, dine or get a drink in the large outdoor garden. Try Warsteiner or Summit Hefeweizen, two of 16 beers on tap and 20 in bottles (ask about the beer of the month). The wine list -- 50 by the bottle and 12 by the glass -- covers Australia, New Zealand Oregon and California.
