This Bucktown beer-and-shot bar doesn't serve cocktails (there's no ice -- or phone either, for that matter) and feels like your uncle's basement. Wood paneling (think Buick station wagon, not the Pump Room) lines the walls, and bric-a-brac clutters the shelves. If you can catch one of the bar's namesake owners here, play story time and ask 'em what Bucktown was like back when they opened the bar. Start your evening off here; doors close early when the bar isn't busy, usually around 11 p.m.
