This comfortable storefront bar has a piano in one corner, a pool table at the back and a stuffed mountain goat in the front window. During the day, neighborhood folks drink coffee, read the paper or take advantage of this free Wi-Fi hub. After work, people stop by for a beer. On weekends, the place is packed. It's is a good place to find out about things going on in the neighborhood. Every summer, owners Wendy Pick and Scott Pascal block off the street, pitch a volleyball net and serve a free feast of grilled corn, hot dogs and pop. "It's an old-fashioned bar," says Pick. "There's no coin-operated anything. No pay phone, no video games. Pool costs 50 cents to play, but you put the coins in an old can on the corner of the table. It's on the honor system."

it's a cool place. stopped in there twice, and the non-smoking thing was kind of a bummer...for a smoker of course.
