A nice spot on Wednesdays

When I first came here it was for a birthday celebration. They had a pretty good package deal for us, which was nice. The beer selection is great, and if you go on Wednesdays, Belgian beers are half-priced. A steal when you consider Hopleaf or the Map Room. The second time I went was when Uncle Fatty's next door had just opened. Not so sure about that crowd, but at least they stayed to their half of the bar. Overall, it's a nice spot to mix and mingle. The servers have always been friendly when I've gone and borderline flirtatious. I don't know what others are talking about the rude service. Bottom line, Bottle Bar may be a good place to start out your night, or as a place to hang for a low-key, chill evening.

What a waste of time this place is! My boyfriend lives in the neighborhood so we decided to go check it out. Prices of drinks are way to much!! Service is horrible. Bartenderes seemed to focus only on certain people instead of making us fell welcome-nver smiled or thanked us for anything. We won't be back.

I woudn't say it's awesome or really bad. I'm in the neighborhood and have been there a few times. It's a good looking crowd and servers are nice. But it can take a long time to get a drink at the bar because people can sit up there and you have to squeeze in between them to order drinks so the bartenders can skip you. best bet is to go through a server

I don't usually write reviews, but me and my girlfriends had such a fun and positive experience that I just had to! Okay, so this place is pretty cool! It's perfect for the girls and the guys (many plasma tv's and an extensive beer list). We loved it because there were hot men everywhere, it was easy to get a drink (we had a server that was very sweet and always available), great music and plenty of seating areas to just kick back and hang out. We had such a blast and plan to come back frequently. Best bar in Lakeview, by far!!!!

Based on my reading of the previous reviews, I felt that I had to comment myself because I believe that those comments are inaccurate. I have frequented this place numerous times and have not been mistreated, nor have felt that the place lacked substance or service. In fact, I have had a great time at this place and have actually become familiar with the staff. I am impressed with the staff's genuine intent to serve its patrons, because the bar recognizes itself as a neighborhood gathering place in an area that has plenty of substitutes. The staff is very friendly and inviting. The prices are very reasonable and I like the variety of drinks.

A bunch of us were there the other night and we didn't stay there too long. Service was bad and we didn't like the crowd. It was like the bartenders were only serving the people they knew. Too bad though, it looks like it has potential to be a better place.

title says it all. too many dudes there and they were all wearing blazers and jeans. not a good crowd on saturday The bartenders kept getting our drinks wrong. And they would yell back at us because they couldn't hear us clearly. they were rude. so we stopped tipping them.

Three of my girls and I went to Bottle bar on saturday and we did not have a good time. it took forever to get to the bar and the bartenders were really rude. Some guys were even buying us drinks and the bartenders were mean to them too. We will not go back. There are better places for a group of girls to go to in that area.
