I just went to Bad Dog for dinner and ended up staying all nght. First, the dinner was fantastic. I had the seven layer salad, the people I was with had the Bacon Brie Burger and the ahi Tuna tacos. Everyone was very pleased. We then had several friends meet us afterward and we proceeded to drink Vodka Lemonade and Sangria Pitchers all night on the patio. It was a great night and my first time at Bad DOg. I Highly reccomend it to anyone else interested in a great night out without dealing with pretentious people.

There really isn't a bad thing I can say about the Bad Dog Tavern. Great upscale bar food, great atmosphere, cozy in the winter with the two gas fireplaces and perfect in the summer with their huge outdoor patio. The parking lot right next to it is also key. You must try the buffalo rolls and goat cheese wontons for appetizers, they are spectacular. For dinner, the steak salad is really good as is the white pizza (although really bad for anyone on a diet) or if you are feeling up for an actual entree, try the scallops. Shocking as it may be, this bar has great scallops. Their brunch is really good too. Try the fresh fruit crepes. It comes with a scoop of ice cream. Nice touch! And, for those of you out there that like to try new beers, they have a million from all over the place. Many on tap, but more in bottles. The Bad Dog Tavern has proved to be a winner!

OK martini selection and the fake fireplace warmed us up but the food was downright yucky and the waitress was inattentive with an unwarranted snooty attitude. We intended to stay for a 2nd round but the terrible, blaringly loud music drove us out. Sorry Bad Dog, this was our 3rd visit and unfortunately your 3rd strike.

Fabulous Tuna

I have been here numerous times, and I am disappointed with their salads. HOWEVER, their Ahi Tuna with Wasabi mashed and asparagus is one of the best pieces of fish I have ever had!!

Bad "Bad Service" Dog Review

My Wife and I were looking for a nice restaurant in which we could celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, and we could not have been more disappointed.
We were met with cold and dismissive service from indifferent staff members, for example; my wife didn't like the table at which we were seated because she felt a chill from a draft, numerous times I requested that we be sat elsewhere and each time I was met with undue hostility.
The meal was adequate at best, but the prices were not, and the whole experience was so unfulfilling, it required all of my best nature to even bring myself to leave a tip.

Horrible Restaurant

Visited on vacation. The food was undercooked, the waiters were rude, and the place smelled like wet horse, and the speakers were blaring Bryan Adams. Worst bar EVER!

Please Never Go Here

I recently went to this establishment and ordered their signature burger, It was terrible the lettuce was frozen. I asked for it medium rare and it was well done. And the waitress was very chunky. IEverything would have been better if they had picked up McDonalds and called it thier own.

Bad Dog is by far my favorite restaurant, and bar (for that matter) in Lincoln Square. Service is always so friendly. I recommend the ahi tuna steak with wasabi mashed potatoes and asparagus! My husband loves their burgers. We eat there a few times each month!

Went in recently. The food was mediocre. The music was WAY too loud. Turn the music down when people are trying to eat and have a conversation. Why does every place like this hip-hop is only thing we want to listen too.The staff was rude and pretentious and to top it off, I had just found that they were shut down by the health department for a week due to health violations. I think I'll stick with the Grafton from now on or any of the better places in Lincoln Square.
