Rock out with your taco out at this taco bar-rock cantina from the Eat Well. Drink Better crew (English, The Grand Central). A mix of rock, country, flamenco, rock en Espanol and, of course, mucho mariachi music fills the air of this rustic, two-story space that’s chock full of Mexican art and artifacts. Find much more than a plethora of mariachis and angels (imagine colorful winged-creatures, not the sanitized lily-white version): Think giant bull heads, Day of the Dead skeletons and masks, marionettes, religious candles, canvas-screened photos of Mex-cowboys, matadors and a bar-scene mural of skeletons in the stairwell. Seating options include a bar on each floor, iron and wood high-top tables, oversized booths, a large communal table/taco bar downstairs and tables overlooking Division Street upstairs. Chow on Tex-Mex border-inspired fare such as flautas, enchiladas and a variety of tacos that come with the fillings (think skirt steak and shrimp) served in a mini cast-iron skillet, toppings and tortillas on the side. Knock back flavored margaritas, premium tequilas and other specialty cocktails for a real fiesta.

I enjoy most any type of place. Some of these spots are fancy and well known, others are hidden dive gems. Some are new as well, and I'm lovin it baby.
