Hands down one of the coolest places that I've been to in this city so far... and always packed on the weekends. Me and my friend's had reserved a table and when we got there with a bunch of extra people with us but the staff was really nice and took care of us... gave us a VIP area to party in too! Needless to say that we partied like rock stars that night closing the place out... Definitely we will be there on Saturday again for another round!!
Report This ReviewI had my girlfriend's b-day party at L.P.C, I never write these things but the place was so awesome and they took such great care of us that a simple Cash tip was not enough in order to say thank you. We had a a party last Week at L.P.C and we had about 50 guests and we were a bit concerned at first but we could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the whole set up and arrangement that was put together for us. The staff was overly attentive and no one ever had an empty glass. From the moment we walk through the door and they should us our space and set up they took total control and really made the experience of zero problem or headaches and I was actually able to enjoy my guest rather than worry about logistics of my own party. The food buffet which was set was top notch and the space that was provided couldn't have been better. We were situated on the 2nd floor towards the back which happens to be right next to the stage where the DJ and the band perform. I have never been more entertained or have seen this concept anywhere, The band played along with the DJ and the entire crowd was dancing and parting all night long. This place has really made me a believer again in going out and that there are cool places that welcome to everyone and to all... All in all if you have a chance to go to L.P.C please check it out it is amazing and really is a ton of fun. It is downtown chicago without any of the downtown attitude or prices. And did I mention the place is cool too... Thanks again...
Report This ReviewMy buddy and I were looking for a place to watch the Hawks game when we decided to check this place out. There were no seats available at the bar and we were on the fence about staying until a manager, unprompted, told us we could sit at an elevated back row that had just opened up from a Reserved status. It was a very good view of the huge TV screen behind the bar. Our waitress was very friendly and came by often enough that we never had an empty drink. I had an appetizer that was good, but I'm not much of foodie so take that as you will. Then as soon as the Hawks game ended they showed both the end of the NBA game and the Cubs game on the screens. So overall the staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful; they don't goof around when it comes to showing games; and they have solid good beer and food. And hey, there is a fair amount of talent hanging around that's good to look at.
Report This ReviewI loved this place! I went on Saturday night with some GF's and hung out mostly on the second floor staring at our bartender Alan, (who is a total hotty!) Finally a hot guy bartender for us girls to look at, we couldn't order any food but we got a bunch of free appetizers then Alan and one of the owners bought us a round of shots, it was a really good time even though we couldn't get up to see the Chelsie girls (you needed a wristband or something) see you next weekend Alan :-) xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Report This Reviewi went to power this past thursday for a sneak preview type thing. I LOVED IT!!!! they were walking around with appetizers and everything was awesome (watermelon and cucumber salad was amazing). drinks were strong. LOVE LOVE LOVE the decor! it was a really cool set up as well. 3 floors, first and second were bar areas with vintage concert posters on the walls and very spacious and the top floor had a stage with a house band and they will be having concerts there as well. they also had great music, a lot of classic rock with some current stuff mixed in. i've lived here for a year and i really haven't been to a bar in chicago yet that i am this excited about. i am dying to come back! you absolutely need to check this place out!!
Report This Reviewmy friend told me about a free lunch here. we went yesterday and they were full or overpacked already. the tall blonde lady at the front door was offputting and sorta rude...and one of the managers? standing by didn't say anything. they are not opening yet and already giving bad customer service/first impressions. i hope this changes.....
Report This ReviewI got to attend a free lunch at this new spot. Our server was great, but the food took almost an hour to come out. All we ordered were some sliders and a few cold appetizers. I won't criticize anymore of the service because I know they're still working out the kinks, but the food was absolutely horrible. I would not recommend going there to eat at all, but I think it will be a cool spot for drinks and music.
Report This ReviewI was @ the pre-opening=) From your rocked out bartenders w/ their 1 of a kind style to the awesome angus burger slider, cucumber and watermerlon salad, or egg white, spinach, feta cheese omelette (im'a veggie wanna b=}) ... it's mos def a winner!
Report This ReviewThis place has a great look. All the staff we encountered was friendly & attractive. My girlfriend & our friends went to check out the place for our band. The stage area was just AMAZING! We tried the food they were passing- if those were the sizes of "mini"- we're talking the size of quarters- it's definitely the ATMOSPHERE you would be paying for.
One staff member who really stands out: a short, amazingly energetic girl named Kim. She took us on a floor by floor walk through with the interesting building history & had the coolest energy that was actually contagious- even my girlfriend loved her attitude (but mostly her rhinestones!).
When we got to the top floor where the stage is, she gave us passes for free lunch next week & told us "your first fix is free" then winked, told us to enjoy ourselves & danced her way downstairs. Aside from the band, it was the most entertaining part of our night. We felt really welcome & will be going back when the place opens for sure.
