I went here last weekend and it was great. Strong drinks, good looking crowd, helpful staff.... we sat outside until the patio closed then danced inside for the rest of the night... i'll be going back again.... I recommend it!
Report This ReviewEvery summer I would go to zella with our friends. We went a couple weeks ago and it was awful. We had to ask 3 times just to get our drink and food order in. The food took forever to come out and it definitely was not worth the wait. I would never eat here again.
Not to mention the waitstaff was slow and acted like we were bothering her!
It's just not what it used to be there. It's a shame.
I've been here numerous times so far this summer and have had a blast everytime! I've had great bartenders/servers and always leave knowing that I'll be going back. Try the flatbread pizza... it's really good!
Report This ReviewZella was a favorite place of ours to go last summer... the bartenders & waitstaff were friendly and fun! We were there for a party last night and we don't what happened? The bartenders were rude, and yelled when we didn't know what we wanted to drink... we asked about a girl who used to work there and they laughed at us?!?!?!? Not to mention the food was not so great & overpriced. We won't be going back again this summer and neither will our friends.
Report This ReviewWent here for the first time last weekend... great food, friendly staff, AMAZING PATIO... it's a must see... average prices, will most definitely be going back again soon!!!!
Report This ReviewGreat food, service was nice though not exceptional. Hot servers, good music, strong drinks... great time!
Report This ReviewThrew my bday soiree here, good music, awesome patio, and a nice loungey feel. Definitely a summer place for drinks.
Report This ReviewFood is not that great, drinks are a little overpriced. Patio is nice, if you can find a seat. Staff could use some customer service training.
Report This ReviewThe attraction here is the outdoor beer garden. Food is average, bottles of Corona are $6....a real rip off. Of course it was $12 Corona bucket night but our waitress failed to mention that...so I paid $18 for 3 Coronas when I could have had 5 for $12. When I complained to the manager his reply was "What would you have paid for that in Wrigley". Hello! I am at Racine and Clybourn...you can't demand Wrigley prices 2 miles away from Wrigley!
Report This ReviewIf you plan on doing dinner & drinks here-plan the dinner elsewhere and only go for drinks. Service was ok but it took us two times of asking for someone to take our order. I had hopes the food would make up for it-not the case. Overpriced food for not much taste-way too many other restaurants in Chicago to choose from-don't make the same mistake we did!
