They always have some sort of $5 food/drink special. Definitely worth a stop.

If you're headed to the United Center for anything, you HAVE to come here first! They even bring you there on a free shuttle. The food is amazing (I love the pizza) and there are new specials every week. Our server was AWESOME, very attentive - she made sure we had a good time. It's a great place to hang out and be around lots of fun people.

Good food, great beer selection. Only downside is music always loud and difficult to have conversation. Very busy during games but midweek nice and relaxed.

I've been there several times and agree that every cocktail is a very short pour. Given that each visit the drinks were the same I conclude that the bartendars are following a management policy on amount of pours. The food is decent for bar food. Of course it is crowded and noisy, but that's what it was designed for.
Given the competitive bar scene in the West Loop, once the newness wears off, perhaps they will lose patrons (except for UC event nights) to other more reasonable bars that pour a decent drink for the same or less money. Afterall, isn't that one of the reasons to go to a bar?

Went with some gals and had a terrible time at the bar. We just wanted some cosmos and appetizers but this seems to be a plce that only likes to serve beer. A kid behind the bar with an 80's haircut had no clue we were even there because he kept talking to another bartender. When he finally made our drinks, it took him a very long time and they were just bland. He didn't offer a menu or refills, which was fine by us. In the meantime, he refilled his own drink and kept chatting up the other guy. I mean, it was slow but we were 2 feet away. Really unnatractive crowd, terrible drinks and bar attitude. No thank you!

West is a great space in the west loop. Nice finishes great tv's. The only problem is it takes about 8 drinks at about 8 bucks piece to get a buzz on. Consequently it appears that all clientel are still paying for the nice finishes. Let stiffen those drinks up a bit!

I read some of the comments that were below and I just don't understand how someone could write negative reviews. It's a bar people! By the United Center for Christs sake! It's gets crowded at times but that doesn't mean you can't go in there all the time to enjoy awesome food ( buffalo rolls. genius.) and great service. It's new so give it a break with the complaints.

Simply the finest place to watch a game, a bald man once told me they have 33 LCD televisions. The lounge is premier if you are one of those people who would rather watch the game at home, it's close to the bathroom too. Seeing as West End is an entitiy of the Four Corners group, you know they have the best bar food in Chicago (the buffalo chicken wrap is fire!). I am constantly impressed with the dedication of their wait staff, who always ensure my experience is nothing short of amazing. Also, they are definitely on to something with that short bus that takes you to the United Center (well...close enough). All in all, I give it 2 thumbs up!!

West End is a fun place. Looks upscale but feels like your nieghborhood bar. Lots of tvs to watch games. Good staff. PROBLEM is the amount of booze they put into drinks. I had 8 vodka drinks and never once tasted vodka. I went to beer to ensure they couldn't keep the booze from me. I would go back there for the NCAA games but will stick with beer.West End is a fun place. Looks upscale but feels like your neighborhood bar. Lots of TVs to watch games. Good staff. ...because I have to order additional shots to pour into my drinks to ensure there is any alcohol in there at all!
