Rude managers. The food quality is not commensurate with the prices. The waitstaff is stretched when the place is crowded.
The biggest problem with this place is the rude customers. We stopped going here because the customers were overbearing, rude, loud, obnoxious and we couldn't put up with the nonsense any more.

One of the most disorganized bars I have ever been to. Not enough staff to support the dinner crowd. Waited at the bar for 15 minutes before my drink order was taken. I was never seated at a table even after being placed on a list. This is the only bar I have ever been to where a patron could not seat themselves at a table in the bar area. There was absolutely no sense of urgency on behalf of the staff to serve the patrons which resulted in a very undesirable and unwelcome environment. I would not recommend this bar to anyone that wanted to enjoy a few drinks and have a bite to eat.

Disappointing

I have been here a few times lately as my buddy now lives not far away, and I can't say I really like the place.
The food has never been satisfactory, there doesn't seem to be any management, and the staff look as if they don't want to be there. I believe there are new owners, maybe they are trying the hands off method - which doesn't work.

I would stop in here again only if I had too, wouldn't eat here again though.
Maybe it will get better????

A little disappointing

A group of us have enjoyed coming here since the early days of their opening for Monday night burgers! It was a great deal and excellent food! The last few times we have gone the special prices have increased, which would be understandable with the way prices everywhere have gone up, but the food quality has significantly gone down as well. We’ve tried going a few times to see if it was a fluke, but this last time we were all disappointed with our burgers, but had to pay more for it! We did mention it to our server, so maybe changes will be made; we were told they were under new management. We usually have had friendly servers with good service overall, and the food does come out quickly!

This place is amazing, the staff is phenomenal and the food is outstanding. The wide variety of Martinis and beers on tap makes Union Park the place to be. I have came here many many times and I plan to bring crowds up here. Great atmosphere as well!!

We had a party there on a Monday night, the music was awesome, the place was clean, the service impeccable. I could not have asked for anything more, anyone who doesn't have Union Park in their top five Chicago bars is sadly mistaken.

Went this weekend with my wife , we live in the area. From what i understand its under new management. DJ played good music no to loud just perfect. We came to catch the Illinois game and ended up staying all night. Food came out fast and watress was very nice. We will be back

the excellent manager, Andy, doesnt work there anymore, its no longer open for lunch, and he waitresses could care less that you are there. A West Loop staple that now loses its customer base to the much better Westend.

Its a great place in the west loop. Great to go before anything going on at United Center as well as happy hour during the week. Food is perfect...salads sandwiches etc. I will keep going back.
