Two-Nine, a chic sliver of a martini lounge, is set above Potter's Place, a no-frills Mexican joint that has been a downtown Naperville standby for years. You can enter Two-Nine from Potter's, or just look for the line of party people, seemingly happy to be cooling their heels outside. This spot is a Wicker Park lounge dropped into N-Ville, with moody lighting, interesting wrought-iron details and a sexy crowd. The specialty martini list is a hit, especially the Bellini (champagne, peach schnapps and peach puree, garnished with a juicy strawberry) and the White Grape (grape vodka and white grape juice topped with frozen grapes), though there are 32 others you can try.
