I stumbled upon (and mind you, since this place is incredibly hidden, you really must get lucky and stumble upon it) this comfortable little lounge just north of all the State street shops and bars the other night and I felt like I found a golden needle in a haystack. A great decor, relaxed enviroment, plenty of seats available (though they were really busy on this Tuesday night)and really friendly staff and other bar folk. Felt like I walked into a neighborhood bar that I've been going for years. A really fun place with a great bartender and piano player and is just a little out of the norm. Take the time to find it, you won't be dissapointed.

The friendliest staff of any bar since I was back home. Everyone who works there is a riot. I've seen them dance behind the bar. If more people knew about the week nights at the Zebra Lounge it wouldn't be an untapped resource for long.

The Zebra lounge is a staple part of every night out. Mike the bartender is fantastic, the music is great (requests make it whatever you want it to be) and the people make it the most entertaining place for a cocktail!

nothing against the current Zebra, but they just can't possibly live up to the "old" Zebra of Patty and ... and... what was the German bartender's name?? He was great... and the VERY short lived putting green in the back courtyard.. those were the daze..

This place is great. Nice and cozy place to end up after dinner. Tom at the Piano is simply one of the best entertainers around, and with no cover the Zebra is one of the bext values around. Space is tight, so plan on standing around for a bit to get a seat. But once you do, stay awhile and enjoy the tunes, and join in!
