Rockit Ranch Productions--Billy Dec, Arturo Gomez and Brad Young--sure built their own buzz for this late-night spot. First there was the refusal to talk about it, then a few details were leaked, next came the Apple-spoofing commercials on YouTube and finally, the uber-secret preview parties. Once opened, this subterranean space aims to live up to the hype with unmarked entrances "guarded" by beefy bouncer-types and a sexy staff outfitted in military uniforms. Did we mention that the whole space boasts concrete and metal accents befitting a night of espionage entertainment a la "Alias"? Sheet metal punched with light holes creates maps of the world on the walls; tables are made to look like ammunition/cargo crates; and cocktails bear names like M16, Espionage and Che's Revolution. Curious to know where this idea came from? We're told Young was inspired following a trip to a Jerusalem nightclub that was once an underground bombshelter. Though it has a spy theme, everyone's talking about it, so be prepared to wait in line.
