The Copa
- Neighborhood: Lincoln Park
- 1637 N. Clybourn Ave.
- Chicago, IL 60614
- 312-642-3449
Much like television, the Copa evolved from black and white to full color. A revamp in early 2004 brought new life and new faces--mainly younger, urban professional types--to this neighborhood bar, effectively quadrupling their weekend crowds. Flat-screen televisions and color-changing mood-lights hanging over the bar's booths now accompany an updated sound system that plays DJ-spun hip-hop and rock on weekends, and house music on Sunday nights.
