Great food
By ChicagoRockSTAR from Lincoln Park/Lakeview, April 22, 2009

You get your money's worth here. Large portions. Good food. Good service. Lots of choices. If you need a place that will please a large group or picky eaters, you can not go wrong at Boundary. It's definitely more of a dinner & beers kind of place. It gets boring if you're looking for a spot to drink with friends.

I love this place. It is also the go to spot of you want a guaranteed great meal and great service. There prices are very reasonable, and in my opinion less expensive than most other places that are similar to The Boundary. The food amazing! Always a hit with friends and family.

Great place

This is a great place to watch a game, or just play catch up with friends. It gets very loud at times, but it is still a very nice place to kick back and relax. Has a very extensive beer and food menu. I will definitely be back.

Won't be going back.

I went with my husband and two young kids to The Boundary. The menu looked interesting and it was a beautiful evening for outdoor dining. Our server was ok, but the west of the gum-popping waitstaff congragated right next to our table to gossip about everyone walking by.

The food was below average. I had a cobb salad, which isn't hard to mess up. It was pretty gross. The dressing tasted like it had been reconstituted from a powder. My husband's burger was covered in a strange orange sauce.

Went for lunch on weekend. Food was good, beer selection was great. Servers nice and friendly. Inside very laid back and good amount of flat panels to watch a game.

Onion Petals!
By Bluebelle from Wicker Park, June 27, 2008

Overall rating:

My roommates and I went came here last Sunday to watch the Crosstown Classic and have dinner. Two of us had burgers and loved them. Plus their onion rings (petals) were unbelievably good! They also have a great beer selection and an attentive wait staff considering how busy the place was.

My friends and I ended up at the Boundary this past weekend after going to another place in Wicker Park-we were so glad we made the move!! The staff was great, the food was excellent and the drinks were even better! I am not sure why some people gave it only one star, I would give it 10 if I could! We will definitely be back again and again!

HORRIBLE - Stay Away
By Josie from WickerPark, May 29, 2008

This bar is horrible - do not waste your time or money here. Visited Boundary last week and was NOT impressed. The staff is rude, and the food is worse! I warn everyone to stay away - this is not a place to take a date!

Poor food, nothing unique...
By Jake from Chicago, May 27, 2008

Everybody comments on service, but who cares...The food was horrible! The fried mac and cheese which is supposed to be a specialty was gross. -everything tasted like it was frozen and bought in bulk. The beer list which is supposed to be a specialty isn't all that. Jerry's next door as 10 times the list; Small Bar a block a way does too. -and they were out of about 5 beers I had asked for. Finally, the decor, etc. is blah. There has got to be 200 places that are decorated the exact same way. They've got dark wood and TVs and so does everyone else. There is absolutley nothing special that would bring me back to the place. -Maybe people watching, but then again there's 40 places along Division that offer that too.
