Went for lunch on weekend. Food was good, beer selection was great. Servers nice and friendly. Inside very laid back and good amount of flat panels to watch a game.

My roommates and I went came here last Sunday to watch the Crosstown Classic and have dinner. Two of us had burgers and loved them. Plus their onion rings (petals) were unbelievably good! They also have a great beer selection and an attentive wait staff considering how busy the place was.

My friends and I ended up at the Boundary this past weekend after going to another place in Wicker Park-we were so glad we made the move!! The staff was great, the food was excellent and the drinks were even better! I am not sure why some people gave it only one star, I would give it 10 if I could! We will definitely be back again and again!

This bar is horrible - do not waste your time or money here. Visited Boundary last week and was NOT impressed. The staff is rude, and the food is worse! I warn everyone to stay away - this is not a place to take a date!

Everybody comments on service, but who cares...The food was horrible! The fried mac and cheese which is supposed to be a specialty was gross. -everything tasted like it was frozen and bought in bulk. The beer list which is supposed to be a specialty isn't all that. Jerry's next door as 10 times the list; Small Bar a block a way does too. -and they were out of about 5 beers I had asked for. Finally, the decor, etc. is blah. There has got to be 200 places that are decorated the exact same way. They've got dark wood and TVs and so does everyone else. There is absolutley nothing special that would bring me back to the place. -Maybe people watching, but then again there's 40 places along Division that offer that too.

My boyfriend and I went in there Sunday afternoon and had a great experience. Our server helped us pick out beers from the overwhelming list. She was smiling and didn't seem hung over like many people are on Sunday days. My burger was huge and it had so many toppings I had to take half home. Everything from the host to the pleasant attitudes were great to see. After reading some other reviews, i think it is sad that hipsters can't allow a great place to co-exist in "their" neighborhood. I will be there again soon!

I haven't tried the food yet, but I've been there plenty of times to have a couple drinks. I love the bar and the atmosphere. It's nice to go to a bar, look around, and see other patrons in the bar who dress nice, have a little class, and (for the most part) are established. I'm tired of seeing the hipster, artsie, looking to find myself patron. I like The Boundary a lot and will continue to go there. The service does need work.

...both times the service was really bad.
The first time, the server was having an off day, forgiveable it happens to everyone. I can't forgive that even after she typed in the correct order, for the second time, it still came out wrong. We are talking about a portobello burger- not rocket science. The mahi tuna sandwich comes out rare whether you order it that way or not.
Second time, there were numerous hairs in the Hangover Helper, the cheesy potatoes were cold & the server was non existant.
It's too bad because it is so close and there are a ton of TV's.

Went on a saturday night. no parking. however, the valet next door took care of us, and even found a spot for us right in front, as we were to drunk to drive home. awesome. the food was great, i consider it to be upscale bar food.
