Seven Ten Lanes

Neighborhood: Hyde Park/University Of Chicago
1055 E. 55th St.

Chicago, IL 60615
773-347-2695
The name's changed from The Lucky Strike to the Seven Ten Lanes, but the place is still the same. Following a month-long, city-wide contest, The Lucky Strike announced its new moniker at a 10th Anniversary celebration on August 26, 2005 at the Lincoln Park location. John Farrell, 24, of Lincoln Square, picked the winner; now the lucky guy has free bowling for life.

This location sports the same 1920s Art Deco panache as the original Lincoln Park address. University of Chicago cats and hip Hyde Parkers will be drawn to the retro feel of this place, exemplified by the vintage furniture and old-school light fixtures. Whether you're in the market for a quick burger and brew or feel like shooting some pool or bowling a few frames this is your spot.
