Nick at Nite fans will have no trouble identifying the inspiration for the name of this afterwork spot. Though there will be a few throwback touches -- '70s and '80s music and TV theme songs, kitschy cocktails, late-night sing-alongs and perhaps some impromptu dancing--the look is fairly up-to-date. Look for lots of couches and lounge seating mixed in with counter seating, booths and bar-height tables. The Beagle's (look, we're sounding like Jack Tripper already) menu is classic, shareable pub grub with a few flourishes like the Jamaican jerk pulled pork served in its a hollowed-out pineapple. Of course, everyone's favorite from the era--fondue--is also on the menu. And, in case you're wondering, owners have spelled Reagle that way on purpose, they say, to match "beagle."
