Went to meet some friends for $1 beers on a week night . It's walking distance from my place so there is one star right there. Ended up having a great time and staying the rest of the night. Fun atmosphere, nice staff.
Report This ReviewHad a lot of fun there the other night. They had awesome music, wasn't too crowded but yet still busy, and staff and service were prompt and responsive.
Report This Reviewi was meeting friends here for a bday, and the place was PACKED! the bar is not that big, and it was packed wall-to-wall with pretty good looking people.. not a really diverse crowd at all though...
Report This ReviewI absolutely love Plan B. It's a great place to sit, grab a drink and people watch on the off nights while dancing to great music on the weekends. On Saturdays you can catch the MSU games, play beer pong with randoms and make memories! Great place!!!
Report This ReviewI attempted to contact Plan B about a private party and drink package. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them. I decided to go there anyway because I had already told my friends I would be celebrating my birthday there. Once there, my friends tried to get in and they had to wait a half hour in line while there really wasn't anything going on inside. The late night door guy obviously let his perceived power go to his head. For a place that boasts downtown quality without the attitude, they missed the mark. I would never return to this place, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.
Report This Reviewwent there for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back multiple times since! i love everything about the place, the atmosphere is laid back and there is always such a good crowd there i havent had a bad time there! I highly recommend plan b whether youre looking to celebrate or relax or just to let loose! great place to have parties and their specials are the best in the neighborhood! plan A+
Report This ReviewFor a spiffy sports bar, this place puts on a lounge face. Went there on the night of Memorial Day Eve, and was one of the few 20 total people who showed up. Thought Wicker Park is a happening place with the night life, but not this night. Granted, you can accuse me of being harsh for an off-night, so where is the place to go in the neighborhood that is better?
Red Dog has been shut down for years, and The Note has ego-tripped bouncers, any suggestions of alternate places? Had to leave within a couple hours after seeing them set up fold-out tables for, what I think, was "beer pong" or whatever, some stupid trend coming up from house parties to public places now.
Report This ReviewWent to Plan B this Friday for the first time and I had a really great time. The place was bumping by 10:30 and luckily we were able to grab a table to get away from the crowds. The service is really great, the waitresses were pretty busy but always very quick with bringing drinks. Try the Melon Drop Shot! The real entertainment begins with the waitresses dance on the poles in the back! The DJ does a really good job mixing too. We will be back for sure!
Report This ReviewThis is an average place with a loftier-than-thou attitude. Drinks are good with a hefty price tag, dance floor should lose the poles, ambiance is fairly vanilla. There are better spaces in Bucktown with more of a personality.
Report This ReviewI love this place. I've been here quite a few times and every time we do I have exceptional service!! Not only is the music amazing, and the crowd good-looking, but the service is what makes it. Cocktail waitresses are always prompt and fun and they have fantastic food! Usually gets pretty crowded on the weekends but get there early to grab seats.
