I have found my "hang out"....my friends and I met for Happy Hour at Martini Park last week and had a fab time. I just recently moved to the city and haven't found a bar/club that I have felt really comfortable in until Martini Park. The lighting is soft, the music isn't blasting (you can have a conversation) and the Manager was very quick to respond to a parking situation that we had....Kudos

I have been to Martini Park many times during the day but was really disappointed when the door guy and the VIP door women were extrememly rude on a Saturday night. This place has a good scene but is not worth the wait. Chances are you are not going to get in if you are not a VIP or at least what they deem is VIP material. There are better bars in the area where the scene is better and the door staff is a little more inviting and nondiscriminative. I am not sure if I will ever go back.

I went there with a friend. I found it to be a good crowd, but the DJ played the same tired old 80's & 90's dance music. Havent we heard enough of Technotronic already? When the Porch windows were open it was cool. Then they closed the windows & it got too crowded. $10 Martini's remided me of that Miller High Life AD... "Ok Boys were takin back the High Life" I want to hear some nice Techno & Urban Beats when I go to a High Class Joint, Not Wild Thing by Tone Loc.

Rude bartenders and staff. The service was terrible. You would think given the name the martinis would be great. This is not the case. Worst drinks I have ever had.

Great drinks, attentive service, cool atmosphere, awesome live band and total dance party after midnight. Not to mention a very good looking "older" 30-50's crowd. If you haven't been to Martini Park yet I highly suggest checking it out especially if you are bored with the same old scene in Gold Coast/River North.

Decided to go there after work with a friend. There were plenty of seats available at tables around the bar and at the bar. However, when we turned the corner and went to the door - we were told " there's a dress code here" PS: I was in a business suit and my friend was dressed business casual. Then as we left, we noticed that there were people in tank tops and jeans sitting near the bar. Unreal! If you want a great scene with great food and great service - try Nacional 27.

Martini Park features very costly drinks and mostly unfriendly bartenders. It wasn't very crowded on a Saturday, and the door situation was a joke. They were keeping a line out front, even though the inside was dead. I would not suggest this place. The only decent thing was the interior decorations.

Really enjoyed Martini Park. I went there about 6 months ago and found it to be okay. Last week when we went the band was fun, the staff was friendly and the drinks were excellent. It is a really great place to listen to music and try out a whole lot of martinis! Oh, and the decor is cool ........Good place for singles and couples both.

I went here last weekend with a group of girlfriends. Martinis were tasty (but pricey) and the music was great. A DJ was playing and there was a mini-dance floor. Crowd was filled with good-looking guys. All around, we had a great time!

When reading reviews I believe a third of them are from disgruntled employees/patrons who made asses of themselves and were booted out, the other third are from current staff members/PR people and finally, the final third are from real patrons. I am a real patron. Went to Martini Park with my husband and another couple. We are in our mid 30's. The band played a variety of oldies up to current music...they weren't too loud so we could still talk (saw this on another review). The interior is beautiful...they have 3 separate bars with orange/amber lighting which makes everyone look good! Really liked it. We spent about 3 hours drinking, dancing and having fun. It is not your frat bar or club where the music blares and you have drunks falling all over you. Great place.
