This slick sports bar (brought to you by Mod Construction's Karl Spektor and White Sox general manager Kenny Williams) really ups the ante on the West Loop's alfresco offerings. Market's alfresco features include sidewalk seating in front of the building and a TV-filled beer garden, equipped with a retractable roof and walls for the winter months. The most stunning outdoor feature, though, is three flights up from the bar on the rooftop deck, where gorgeous skyline views and plenty of space to sit and sip adds up to a hot summer scene.

Inside, a dining area lined with cushy booths provides a place for groups to dine on gimmicky eats such as popcorn shrimp in a movie-style popcorn box, mac 'n' cheese muffins and M.V.P.s (most valuable...pizzas). The slick bar area beckons with high tables to rest your cocktail, chosen from a list of 25 options ranging from the Dirty CEO martini to a sparkling margarita topped off with Moet & Chandon. Nods to the sports theme are subtle and artsy, such as a mural of abstract sports images, from scoreboard pixels basketball court markings. Though flatscreen TVs are in sight most everywhere you look, they manage not to dominate.
