Jilly's shrunk the glasses! What a rip-off!

We were at Jilly's in Naperville last week and very surprised by the new sizes of their glasses! They serve top shelf mixed drinks in a glass that looked like a chubby dixie cup...Had very misleading thick glass -maybe could fit 3 small ice cubes in there with about 2-3 oz of liquid. The beer glasses were also very small and not chilled! A REAL RIP-OFF ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICES THEY CHARGE! Everyone needs to request they return the old glasses!

We went to Jilly's for the first time on a Tuesday night. Tuesday is ladies night and they had half price cosmos and appletini's... They also had half price appetizers until 8pm. We ordered the fillet burgers which were amazing. they were very tender and juicy. the beef empenada was just ok but a good value at the half price. The grilled/chilled shrimp cocktail was great as well. we ordered 4 different appetizers and 4 drinks total and the bill was under $50 with a tip. What a great value for an upscale place. It should be noted that this is not a restuarant. It is a classy lounge with an upbeat professional after work crowd. They only have their apetizers and I think 2 or 3 entres. A small menu but amazingly mastered. This is a place I will be a regular at.

My wife and I stopped by because we had be at Jilly's in early March and thought it was exactly what we needed here in Naperville. Finally somewhere classy. Rat Pack Jazz was incredible and the atmosphere was the same. However now it is not worthy of our money. We went out on Friday and Rat Pack Jazz was really great but the TV's took away from the atmosphere. To bad it is just another sports bar. Not worth the price of drinks.

My fiancee and I went into Jilly's this past weekend and had an absolute BALL! We went out for a late dinner and stopped by after for some cocktails. What a pleasant surprise. We caught the end of the live entertainment and enjoyed dancing to disco. The staff was so attentive but looked like they were have a great time too! It was a blast. We will be back!

We came after dinner so can't comment on the food.
The staff was extremely accommodatng, a young man named Joey saw us looking for a table and came right over to help. The waitress was attentive even when it got very busy and the band was terrific. This Jilly's is a great spinoff to the original!

We visited Jilly's on April 28th my wife and I along with another couple got there about 10pm on Saturday. The band was incredible. There was a jazz trio of young guys and a vocalist playing Sinatra and other selections, just wonderful. Very impressive! It was like being in a downtown Chicago club back in the 70's with incredible music and good drinks.

Perfect atmosphere except for the fact that for some reason these big plasma TV's were glowing on the wall. Why would you have pictures of Sinatra all over the walls, have an incredible band with no cover charge, great drinks and low lighting and have TVs glowing on the wall destroying the hip atmosphere? If the band wasn't as good as they were we would have only stayed for one drink and left. I hope the management opens there eyes and notices what they have and doesn't turn Jilly's into just another bad sports bar in Naperville.

This is the smokiest place I have been to in a LONG time. They need to install some proper "smoke eaters." Very expensive drinks. But the music was okay, everyone was checking out everyone else. Very 'mature' crowd in years if not behavior! Ah well, nice to see the oldies out having fun.

Jilly's was recommended by a band member at another Naperville hotspot.
Our small group was looking for a nice cozy place to enjoy some live
piano in an intimate atmosphere. When we arrived, the current
entertainment almost immediately took a break. The round of three
drinks was $32. It was then that we realized we were surrounded my
Naperville's most pretentious snobs, dressed to the nines in their
designer clothes and smug attitude. The entertainment had not returned
after 45 minutes, we promptly left. If you're looking for entertainment
at a reasonable price, in a comfortable atmosphere, I recommend Julian's
Piano Bar on Route 59. If you're looking for a high-priced extension to
your posh country club, Jilly's is for you.

The decor is absolutely fantastic with romantic red walls, black-and-white photos of Sinatra, Ella, Bennet and more. That did not jibe with the three TVs all set to sports channels. Piped music was hard to hear over the TVs. Live music began around 8 p.m.; on the night I was there, it was more of a bluesy-jitterbug than jazz. There seemed to be a small dance floor, though no one was dancing by the time I left around 9 p.m. I thought the prices for drinks was high; a "tall" Seagrams & 7 cost $9, and was neither the tallest nor the best I've ever had. I didn't have anything to eat. I have to say, I'm not sure I'd go back again unless it was for a special occassion. What would draw me back more than anything else is the atmosphere.

4 of us went there early to get a table on 3/16. The manager said we could sit any place with no reserve sign. We pointed over to a table and he said that table is fine - we had a nice waitress, had great service, bought $77 of food and drinks. She came by later to say the table was reserved for 8pm - we reminded her that when we sat down she had said it was not reserved - the manager came over, very rudely said we needed to move, we reminded him that he never said that when he told us earlier that table was open... he never offered to re-seat us - on our way out he seated 4 young ladies at our table - they appeared to be his friends... what a rude, dishonest, unfair way to treat people to give preferred treatment to some other people... I would not reccomend Jilly's in Naperville.... Jilly's downtown Chicago is a much friendlier place..
