Went here a week ago to celebrate a birthday. Got here shortly after they opened and the place was dead for about an hour, but then picked up to a packed house. Decor was cool, music was average, drinks were strong and city-priced. We had fun; I'd go back.
Report This Reviewfun place to bring friends... dancing in the back on the weekends... cool place
Report This ReviewI thought that I was in a parallel universe initially because I walked in towards the beginning of the night and it was dark inside, but before I knew it the night had turned into the greatest week night ever. The DJ was off the chain, and although he never got to my request I am still dancing to the tunes in my head.
I also had the bad fortune of losing my wallet and a considerable amount of cash, but this guy who I didn't even know was Security came and gave it to me with all my money, and he even bought me a shot. I'm sold....Empire Liquors...
Great spot. Love the decor, fantastic music and friendly staff. It was a bit hot in there, but they say the a/c will be fixed next week.
Report This ReviewTried to get in on a weekend, granted it was late but they wouldn't even let my friend in to use the restroom while we waited in line. RUDE bouncers. Then they let another girl in who KNEW someone. I've never experienced such rudeness.
Report This ReviewI love this bar. It's club, but without that Lincoln Park yuppie vibe. Most of the DJs are awesome, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the bartenders/staff are great. This is a great place to go if you are in Wicker Park and want to dance!
Report This ReviewLove it! The new wed. night DJ is fantastic.. rock n roll all night great specials from the $2 PBR to the $4 sky.. will be there every week!
Report This ReviewI actually really like this place on Wednesdays. Not as crowded as the weekends, really easy to get a seat, and the DJs are not the typical crappy club mash-up types. Only problem is I usually end up leaving smashed. Damn you, shot-loving bartenders!
Report This Reviewmy friends and I checked it out one night because it was an easy neighborhood option. The place is beautiful and it was as good a crowd as I've seen anywhere in the city. We'll be back.
Report This ReviewJust like every 'trendy' spot in the city except this one invades Bucktown, has 4 bartenders behind a crowded bar who crawl from pour to pour and a DJ who couldn't set the mood with his derivative selection .
Is there need for another bar in Chicago that considers itself trendy, yet fails to differentiate itself from the countless other clones all over the city?
According to the packed main room, unfortunatley yes.
Atleast you've got options in this part of town. A lot better options.
