The owners of now-closed Stardust in west suburban Downers Grove have brought their concept to the Krem address in Lincoln Park. The club's stark white look has been made even whiter, thanks to a new paint job and columns draped with white flowy fabric, and new waterfall feature livens up the 80-seat outdoor patio, decked out with red-and-gold Indian-inspired flair. A separate red-hued reservations-only VIP room, dubbed Stardust after the owners' recent venture, is bottle service and celebrity treatment. Cocktails are named after chi-chi designers, from the Escada Colada to the Fendi Mojito. When the spot's in full swing, expect dinner service on Friday and Saturday nights, plus a Sunday industry night.
